A guide to uninstall SourceApp from your computer

SourceApp is a Windows application. Some files, folders and registry data will not be removed when you want to remove SourceApp from your PC.

Folders left behind when you uninstall SourceApp:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\SourceApp
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\SourceApp

Usually, the following files are left on disk:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\SourceApp\updateSourceApp.exe
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Local Storage\http_www.sourceapp.info_0.localstorage
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Local Storage\https_api.sourceapp.info_0.localstorage

Registry that is not uninstalled:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{A2D733A7-73B0-4C6B-B0C7-06A432950B66}

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{5A4E3A41-FA55-4BDA-AED7-CEBE6E7BCB52}\InprocServer32\

How to uninstall SourceApp from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SourceApp is a program released by SourceApp. Some people decide to remove it. Sometimes this can be efortful because deleting this manually takes some experience related to Windows program uninstallation.   • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find SourceApp or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SourceApp". If it exists on your system the SourceApp program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select SourceApp in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding SourceApp, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
For example you can see that for SourceApp:





  • The web site of the program is: http://sourceapp.info/support
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\SourceApp\SourceAppuninstall.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall SourceApp.

8. After uninstalling SourceApp, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong SourceApp which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing SourceApp with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
