A way to uninstall Smite from your PC

Smite is a software application. This page contains details on how to remove it from your computer. The Windows version was created by Hi-Rez Studios. Check out here where you can find out more on Hi-Rez Studios. The application is frequently found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Hi-Rez Studios\HiRezGames/smite directory (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove Smite by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\Hi-Rez Studios\HiRezGamesDiagAndSupport.exe. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for admin rights. Smite's primary file takes about 33.07 MB (34678728 bytes) and its name is Smite.exe.

Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Some of these are shown below.

Directories that were left behind:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\ApplicationOntology\data\wrappers\smite

Usually, the following files remain on disk:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\ApplicationOntology\data\icons\smite.png

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

How to delete Smite from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Smite is a program released by Hi-Rez Studios. Frequently, people decide to uninstall this program. This is troublesome because doing this by hand takes some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE approach to uninstall Smite is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to take care of your computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Smite or simply click the Search field and type in "Smite". If it exists on your system the Smite program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Smite in the list of apps, the following data about the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Smite, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Smite.

8. After removing Smite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Smite which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Smite with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
