You can find below detailed information on how to uninstall Smite for Windows. The Windows release was developed by Hi-Rez Studios. Check out here where you can read more on Hi-Rez Studios. Usually the Smite application is installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Hi-Rez Studios\HiRezGames/smite folder, depending on the user's option during setup. You can uninstall Smite by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\Hi-Rez Studios\HiRezGamesDiagAndSupport.exe. Note that you might be prompted for admin rights. Smite's primary file takes about 33.63 MB (35258368 bytes) and is called Smite.exe.

If planning to uninstall Smite you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders left behind when you uninstall Smite:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\ApplicationOntology\data\wrappers\smite

The files below remain on your disk when you remove Smite:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\ApplicationOntology\data\icons\smite.png

How to remove Smite from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Smite is an application by Hi-Rez Studios. Sometimes, people choose to remove this application. This can be troublesome because deleting this by hand takes some know-how regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove Smite is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. All the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Smite or simply activate the Search field and type in "Smite". If it exists on your system the Smite app will be found automatically. After you select Smite in the list of applications, the following information about the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Smite, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Smite.

8. After removing Smite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Smite which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
