How to uninstall ScanGuard from your computer

A way to delete ScanGuard from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ScanGuard is an application released by ScanGuard. Some users decide to remove this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because performing this manually requires some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE approach to remove ScanGuard is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your PC.

  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button

5. All the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate ScanGuard or simply click the Search field and type in "ScanGuard". If it exists on your system the ScanGuard application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select ScanGuard in the list of applications, some information about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about ScanGuard, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove ScanGuard.

8. After removing ScanGuard, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong ScanGuard that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling ScanGuard using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
