A way to uninstall ScanGuard with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ScanGuard is a program marketed by the software company ScanGuard. Sometimes, computer users choose to erase this application. This is hard because uninstalling this manually requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best QUICK way to erase ScanGuard is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to optimize your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find ScanGuard or simply activate the Search feature and type in "ScanGuard". The ScanGuard application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select ScanGuard in the list of programs, some information about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about ScanGuard, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ScanGuard:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.scanguard.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\ScanGuard\uninst.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall ScanGuard.


8. After uninstalling ScanGuard, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of ScanGuard which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling ScanGuard with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
