Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Part_A few of these are listed below.

Folders left behind when you uninstall ScanGuard:

Usually the following registry data will not be uninstalled:

How to erase ScanGuard with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ScanGuard is an application marketed by the software company ScanGuard. Some users decide to remove it. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate ScanGuard or simply click the Search field and type in "ScanGuard". The ScanGuard application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select ScanGuard in the list , the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding ScanGuard, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove ScanGuard.


8. After removing ScanGuard, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of ScanGuard which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing ScanGuard using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
