How to uninstall ScanGuard from your PC

How to remove ScanGuard from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ScanGuard is a program by the software company ScanGuard. Sometimes, computer users want to erase this application. One of the best SIMPLE way to erase ScanGuard is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows system.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate ScanGuard or simply activate the Search feature and type in "ScanGuard". The ScanGuard program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select ScanGuard in the list of applications, some information about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about ScanGuard, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ScanGuard:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\ScanGuard\uninst.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove ScanGuard.


8. After removing ScanGuard, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong ScanGuard that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling ScanGuard using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
