A way to uninstall Rufus from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Rufus is an application released by the software company RePack by Andreyonohov. Sometimes, users choose to uninstall it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because removing this manually requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK manner to uninstall Rufus is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows system.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Rufus or simply activate the Search field and type in "Rufus". If it exists on your system the Rufus app will be found very quickly. After you click Rufus in the list of applications, the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Rufus, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Rufus:

• The publisher is: http://rufus.akeo.ie/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Rufus\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Rufus.


8. After removing Rufus, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Rufus which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Rufus with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
