How to uninstall PowerDVD from your computer

Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for administrator rights. PowerDVD's main file takes around 62.11 KB (63600 bytes) and is called PowerDVD.exe.

A way to erase PowerDVD with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PowerDVD is a program released by the software company CyberLink Corporation. Sometimes, users want to remove this application. This can be hard because uninstalling this manually requires some skill related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove PowerDVD is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your system.

  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find PowerDVD or simply activate the Search field and type in "PowerDVD". If it is installed on your PC the PowerDVD program will be found automatically. When you select PowerDVD in the list of programs, some information about the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about PowerDVD, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall PowerDVD.

8. After removing PowerDVD, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of PowerDVD which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing PowerDVD with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
