How to remove PowerDVD from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PowerDVD is an application offered by the software company CyberLink Corporation. Some users choose to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be hard because uninstalling this manually takes some skill regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY action to uninstall PowerDVD is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your PC.

  • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button

3. Click on the General Tools category

5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate PowerDVD or simply click the Search field and type in "PowerDVD". If it exists on your system the PowerDVD application will be found very quickly. When you click PowerDVD in the list of applications, some information about the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about PowerDVD, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove PowerDVD.

8. After uninstalling PowerDVD, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of PowerDVD which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing PowerDVD using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
