How to remove McAfee® from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

McAfee® is an application by the software company McAfee, LLC. Some users try to remove it. This is easier said than done because performing this manually requires some experience regarding PCs. 3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find McAfee® or simply click the Search feature and type in "McAfee®". The McAfee® program will be found automatically. When you select McAfee® in the list of programs, some information about the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about McAfee®, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall McAfee®.


8. After uninstalling McAfee®, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong McAfee® which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
