A guide to uninstall McAfee® from your system

McAfee® is a computer program. This page contains details on how to remove it from your computer. The Windows release was created by McAfee, LLC. Take a look here for more information on McAfee, LLC. The program is often placed in the C:\Program Files\McAfee folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can uninstall McAfee® by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\McAfee\MSC\mcuihost.exe /body:misp://MSCJsRes.dll::uninstall.html /id:uninstall. How to delete McAfee® using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

McAfee® is an application by McAfee, LLC. Some computer users want to uninstall it. This is troublesome because doing this by hand requires some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY manner to uninstall McAfee® is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find McAfee® or simply activate the Search field and type in "McAfee®". The McAfee® application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click McAfee® in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding McAfee®, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall McAfee®.


8. After uninstalling McAfee®, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of McAfee® which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling McAfee® with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
