How to erase McAfee® from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

McAfee® is a program offered by the software company McAfee, LLC. Some computer users want to remove this application. This is troublesome because deleting this by hand requires some skill regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY approach to remove McAfee® is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your computer.

• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate McAfee® or simply click the Search feature and type in "McAfee®". The McAfee® application will be found very quickly. After you select McAfee® in the list of programs, some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding McAfee®, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall McAfee®.


8. After uninstalling McAfee®, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of McAfee® which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling McAfee® using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
