A way to uninstall Gwyddion from your computer

How to delete Gwyddion from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Gwyddion is a program released by Gwyddion developers. Sometimes, users decide to remove this program. This can be difficult because removing this by hand takes some knowledge related to PCs. The best EASY solution to remove Gwyddion is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Gwyddion or simply activate the Search field and type in "Gwyddion". The Gwyddion app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Gwyddion in the list of applications, the following data about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Gwyddion, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Gwyddion:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Gwyddion\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Gwyddion.


8. After uninstalling Gwyddion, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Gwyddion that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Gwyddion with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
