A guide to uninstall Gwyddion from your system

A way to delete Gwyddion from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Gwyddion is an application by Gwyddion developers. Sometimes, people try to remove it. Sometimes this is hard because performing this manually requires some knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best EASY practice to remove Gwyddion is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Gwyddion or simply click the Search field and type in "Gwyddion". If it exists on your system the Gwyddion application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Gwyddion in the list of programs, some information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Gwyddion, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Gwyddion:

• The web site of the application is: http://gwyddion.net/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Gwyddion\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Gwyddion.


8. After uninstalling Gwyddion, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Gwyddion that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Gwyddion with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
