GNU Privacy Guard has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\GnuPG

How to delete GNU Privacy Guard from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GNU Privacy Guard is a program released by The GnuPG Project. Frequently, computer users try to remove this program. 3. Click on the General Tools button

5. All the applications installed on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find GNU Privacy Guard or simply activate the Search feature and type in "GNU Privacy Guard". If it exists on your system the GNU Privacy Guard program will be found automatically. After you click GNU Privacy Guard in the list of applications, the following information about the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about GNU Privacy Guard, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall GNU Privacy Guard.
