How to uninstall GNU Privacy Guard from your PC

GNU Privacy Guard has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\GnuPG

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

How to erase GNU Privacy Guard from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find GNU Privacy Guard or simply activate the Search field and type in "GNU Privacy Guard". If it exists on your system the GNU Privacy Guard application will be found very quickly. When you select GNU Privacy Guard in the list of apps, some data regarding the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding GNU Privacy Guard, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
