How to remove Electrum from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Electrum is an application by the software company Electrum Technologies GmbH. Some people decide to erase this application. This can be troublesome because deleting this by hand takes some know-how related to removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY solution to erase Electrum is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to clean your computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Electrum or simply activate the Search field and type in "Electrum". If it is installed on your PC the Electrum application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Electrum in the list of programs, the following information about the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Electrum, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electrum\Uninstall.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Electrum.

8. After uninstalling Electrum, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Electrum which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
