A guide to uninstall Electrum from your computer

Electrum is a Windows program. A way to delete Electrum from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Electrum is a program offered by the software company Electrum Technologies GmbH. Some users try to erase it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because deleting this by hand takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to optimize your computer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Electrum or simply click the Search field and type in "Electrum". If it is installed on your PC the Electrum application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Electrum in the list of apps, some data regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Electrum, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electrum\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Electrum.


8. After uninstalling Electrum, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Electrum which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
