A considerable amount of files, folders and Windows registry data can be left behind when you are trying to remove Electrum from your PC.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Electrum
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Electrum

Open regedit.exe in order to remove the following registry values:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\Electrum\electrum-4.0.9.exe.FriendlyAppName

How to remove Electrum from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Electrum is an application by Electrum Technologies GmbH. Some people want to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because deleting this by hand requires some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE procedure to uninstall Electrum is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Electrum or simply activate the Search field and type in "Electrum". If it exists on your system the Electrum application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Electrum in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Electrum, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Electrum.


8. After uninstalling Electrum, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Electrum that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Electrum with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
