A way to uninstall Desura from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Desura is an application by the software company Desura. Sometimes, people want to uninstall it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE way to uninstall Desura is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Desura or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Desura". If it exists on your system the Desura app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Desura in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Desura, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Desura:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.desura.com/about
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Desura\Desura_Uninstaller.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Desura.


8. After removing Desura, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Desura that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Desura using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
