How to uninstall Desura from your computer

Desura is a software application. How to delete Desura from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Desura is an application marketed by the software company Desura. Sometimes, computer users want to uninstall it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because doing this manually takes some knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK practice to uninstall Desura is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Desura or simply activate the Search field and type in "Desura". If it is installed on your PC the Desura application will be found automatically. When you select Desura in the list of programs, some information about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Desura, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Desura:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Desura\Desura_Uninstaller.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Desura.


8. After uninstalling Desura, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Desura that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Desura using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
