A way to uninstall Dell SupportAssist from your PC

How to erase Dell SupportAssist from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Dell SupportAssist is a program released by Dell Inc.. Sometimes, people want to uninstall it. This can be hard because removing this manually takes some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY way to uninstall Dell SupportAssist is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Dell SupportAssist or simply activate the Search field and type in "Dell SupportAssist". The Dell SupportAssist application will be found automatically. After you select Dell SupportAssist in the list of applications, some information regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Dell SupportAssist, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Dell\SupportAssistAgent\bin\SupportAssistUninstaller.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Dell SupportAssist.


8. After removing Dell SupportAssist, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Dell SupportAssist that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Dell SupportAssist using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
