AnyDesk has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall AnyDesk:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\AnyDesk
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\AnyDesk

Generally, the following files remain on disk:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\AnyDesk\AnyDesk.exe
• C:\Program Files (x86)\AnyDesk\previous-version
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\AnyDesk\ad.trace
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\AnyDesk\service.conf
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\AnyDesk\system.conf
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\AnyDesk\thumbnails\425342cd36be6a68.png
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\AnyDesk\user.conf

Usually the following registry data will not be removed:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.anydesk
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AnyDesk
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Clients\Media\AnyDesk
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AnyDesk
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\AnyDesk

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following registry values:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\AnyDesk\Description
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\AnyDesk\DisplayName
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\AnyDesk\ImagePath

A way to erase AnyDesk from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate AnyDesk or simply activate the Search field and type in "AnyDesk". If it exists on your system the AnyDesk program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select AnyDesk in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding AnyDesk, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove AnyDesk.


8. After removing AnyDesk, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of AnyDesk which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing AnyDesk with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
