A way to uninstall WinRAR from your PC

WinRAR is a Windows program. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for admin rights. The program's main executable file occupies 1.40 MB (1467904 bytes) on disk and is called WinRAR.exe.

How to erase WinRAR using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinRAR is a program marketed by win.rar GmbH. Some computer users choose to erase this application. Sometimes this is efortful because performing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY way to erase WinRAR is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to optimize your computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate WinRAR or simply activate the Search field and type in "WinRAR". If it exists on your system the WinRAR program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click WinRAR in the list of programs, some data about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about WinRAR, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall WinRAR.

8. After uninstalling WinRAR, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of WinRAR that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling WinRAR with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
