A way to remove WinRAR from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinRAR is a program released by win.rar GmbH. Sometimes, computer users want to remove it. This can be easier said than done because deleting this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK solution to remove WinRAR is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find WinRAR or simply activate the Search field and type in "WinRAR". The WinRAR app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select WinRAR in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding WinRAR, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\WinRAR\unins000.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove WinRAR.

8. After uninstalling WinRAR, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of WinRAR that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing WinRAR with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
