A way to uninstall Yandex from your system

Yandex is a Windows program. Read below about how to uninstall it from your computer. The Windows version was developed by YANDEX. Take a look here where you can find out more on YANDEX. Usually the Yandex program is installed in the C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Yandex\YandexBrowser\Application directory, depending on the user's option during setup. The full command line for uninstalling Yandex is C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Yandex\YandexBrowser\Application\17.4.1.1026\Installer\setup.exe. Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Part_A few of these are shown below.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\YandexBrowser
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yandex
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Clients\StartMenuInternet\Yandex.HHF25SR7ZS24Q6F7N46WFG74U4
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Yandex

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List\C:\Documents and Settings\Tom.868FADC510CA418\Local Settings\Application Data\Yandex\YandexBrowser\Application\browser.exe

A way to erase Yandex from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Yandex is a program by YANDEX. Sometimes, people choose to remove this program. This can be easier said than done because performing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to remove Yandex is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to optimize your Windows system.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Yandex or simply click the Search field and type in "Yandex". If it is installed on your PC the Yandex program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Yandex in the list of programs, some data about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Yandex, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Yandex.


8. After removing Yandex, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Yandex which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Yandex with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
