Yandex is a Windows program. If you are manually uninstalling Yandex we advise you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Yandex
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Yandex

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall Yandex:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Yandex.lnk
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Yandex\clids-yabrowser.xml
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Yandex\ui

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\appdatalow\Yandex
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Clients\StartMenuInternet\Yandex.2WZYBVILD5ETTHPOA2RBMMZGCY
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\YandexBrowser
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yandex

Open regedit.exe to remove the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Yandex\YandexBrowser\Application\browser.exe.ApplicationCompany

A way to delete Yandex with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Yandex is an application marketed by the software company Yandex. Sometimes, people want to remove this application. • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Yandex, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Yandex.


8. After uninstalling Yandex, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Yandex which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
