A guide to uninstall Yandex from your computer

This page contains complete information on how to uninstall Yandex for Windows. The Windows version was developed by Yandex. More info about Yandex can be read here. The application is usually placed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Yandex\YandexBrowser\Application directory (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove Yandex by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Yandex\YandexBrowser\Application\25.4.1.955\Installer\setup.exe. Note that you might get a notification for admin rights. Yandex's primary file takes about 5.51 MB (5778008 bytes) and is called browser.exe.

A way to uninstall Yandex using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Yandex is an application released by Yandex. Sometimes, people decide to remove this application. Sometimes this can be difficult because removing this manually requires some know-how related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE way to remove Yandex is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your PC.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Yandex or simply activate the Search field and type in "Yandex". The Yandex application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Yandex in the list of programs, some information about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Yandex, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Yandex.


8. After removing Yandex, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Yandex which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
