A guide to uninstall Yandex from your PC

This page contains detailed information on how to remove Yandex for Windows. The Windows release was created by Yandex. Check out here for more info on Yandex. Usually the Yandex application is found in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Yandex\YandexBrowser\Application directory, depending on the user's option during setup. The full command line for removing Yandex is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Yandex\YandexBrowser\Application\24.10.4.931\Installer\setup.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might get a notification for administrator rights. browser.exe is the Yandex's main executable file and it takes close to 4.29 MB (4495552 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall Yandex from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Yandex is a program offered by Yandex. Sometimes, people choose to remove this application. 3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Yandex or simply click the Search field and type in "Yandex". The Yandex program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Yandex in the list of apps, the following information about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Yandex, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Yandex.


8. After removing Yandex, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Yandex that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
