A guide to uninstall WinGate from your system

WinGate is a software application. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for admin rights. GateKeeper.exe is the programs's main file and it takes around 4.91 MB (5152832 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove WinGate from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinGate is a program marketed by the software company Qbik New Zealand. Some computer users choose to uninstall it. Sometimes this is hard because uninstalling this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY practice to uninstall WinGate is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find WinGate or simply activate the Search feature and type in "WinGate". The WinGate app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select WinGate in the list , the following information about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about WinGate, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for WinGate:

• The software company is: http://www.wingate.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Windows\WinGate\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove WinGate.


8. After removing WinGate, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong WinGate that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing WinGate using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
