A way to uninstall VLC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VLC is a program offered by VideoLAN. Sometimes, people decide to erase this application. This is easier said than done because doing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. 3. Press the General Tools category

5. All the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate VLC or simply activate the Search field and type in "VLC". If it is installed on your PC the VLC app will be found very quickly. After you click VLC in the list , some data about the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about VLC, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall VLC.

8. After uninstalling VLC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong VLC that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing VLC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
