A way to uninstall VLC from your computer

VLC is a computer program. How to delete VLC from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find VLC or simply click the Search feature and type in "VLC". If it exists on your system the VLC application will be found automatically. Notice that after you select VLC in the list of applications, some data about the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about VLC, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove VLC.

8. After removing VLC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong VLC which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
