A considerable amount of files, folders and registry data will not be removed when you want to remove Understand from your computer.

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\understand.exe
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Understand Project
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Understand 4.0

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files\SciTools\bin\pc-win32\understand.exe

How to uninstall Understand from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Understand is a program released by SciTools. Some computer users want to remove it. Sometimes this is difficult because performing this manually requires some skill regarding Windows program uninstallation. 2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Understand or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Understand". The Understand program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Understand in the list of apps, some data about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Understand, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Understand.


8. After uninstalling Understand, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Understand which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Understand using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
