Some files and registry entries are frequently left behind when you remove UltraVnc.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Program Files\UltraVNC
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Internet\UltraVNC
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\UltraVNC

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall UltraVnc:

• C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\authadmin.dll
• C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\authSSP.dll

• C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\driver\driver\mv2.cat

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.vnc
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Ultravnc2_is1

Open regedit.exe to remove the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\program files\ultravnc\vncviewer.exe
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\VncViewer.Config\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\VncViewer.Config\shell\open\command\
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Ultravnc2_is1\Inno Setup: App Path
