A way to uninstall Texmacs from your computer

Texmacs is a Windows program. Read more about how to remove it from your PC. The Windows version was created by MAGIX. Additional info about MAGIX can be found here. Further information about Texmacs can be seen at . The application is frequently located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\TeXmacs folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can uninstall Texmacs by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\TeXmacs\unins001.exe. Note that you might be prompted for admin rights. Texmacs's main file takes around 29.20 MB (30621944 bytes) and is named texmacs.exe.

How to delete Texmacs with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Texmacs is a program marketed by the software company MAGIX. Sometimes, computer users want to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be efortful because deleting this manually takes some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. 3. Click on the General Tools button

5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Texmacs or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Texmacs". If it exists on your system the Texmacs program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Texmacs in the list of programs, the following information about the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Texmacs, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\TeXmacs\unins001.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Texmacs.

8. After uninstalling Texmacs, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Texmacs which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Texmacs with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
