A guide to uninstall Streamlink from your computer

Streamlink is a software application. This page contains details on how to remove it from your PC. The Windows version was developed by Streamlink. Further information on Streamlink can be seen here. Please open https://streamlink.github.io/ if you want to read more on Streamlink on Streamlink's web page. The program is usually located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Streamlink directory (same installation drive as Windows). The full uninstall command line for Streamlink is C:\Program Files (x86)\Streamlink\uninstall.exe. Streamlink's main file takes about 64.00 KB (65536 bytes) and is called streamlink.exe.

After the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Some of these are shown below.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall Streamlink from your PC:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\streamlink

The files below are left behind on your disk by Streamlink when you uninstall it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\streamlink\streamlinkrc

Registry that is not cleaned:

A way to remove Streamlink from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Streamlink is a program by the software company Streamlink. Sometimes, computer users want to erase it. This is hard because removing this manually requires some know-how regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE way to erase Streamlink is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to clean your computer.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Streamlink or simply click the Search field and type in "Streamlink". If it is installed on your PC the Streamlink app will be found very quickly. After you select Streamlink in the list , some information about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Streamlink, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Streamlink:

• The publisher is: https://streamlink.github.io/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Streamlink\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Streamlink.


8. After removing Streamlink, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Streamlink that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Streamlink with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
