Several files, folders and registry entries can not be deleted when you are trying to remove Streamlink from your PC.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\streamlink

The files below remain on your disk when you remove Streamlink:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\streamlink\config

Registry that is not removed:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Streamlink

A way to remove Streamlink with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Streamlink is an application offered by the software company Streamlink. Some people choose to remove this application. This can be easier said than done because doing this manually requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY practice to remove Streamlink is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general tool to take care of your Windows computer.

• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Streamlink or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Streamlink". If it exists on your system the Streamlink app will be found very quickly. When you select Streamlink in the list of apps, the following data about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Streamlink, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Streamlink:

• The publisher is: https://streamlink.github.io/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Streamlink\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Streamlink.


8. After removing Streamlink, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Streamlink which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Streamlink with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
