Slack is a software application. You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\slack
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\slack
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\RADAR\HeapLeakDetection\DiagnosedApplications\slack.exe

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\slack\app-4.25.2\slack.exe.ApplicationCompany
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\slack\app-4.25.2\slack.exe.FriendlyAppName
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\slack\app-4.26.3\slack.exe.ApplicationCompany
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\slack\app-4.26.3\slack.exe.FriendlyAppName

How to remove Slack from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Slack or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Slack". The Slack application will be found automatically. When you click Slack in the list , the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Slack, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Slack.


8. After uninstalling Slack, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Slack which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
