How to uninstall SIV from your PC

Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for admin rights. SIV's primary file takes around 17.31 KB (17728 bytes) and is named sivinit.exe.

How to delete SIV from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SIV is an application released by the software company GIGABYTE. Frequently, users want to uninstall this program. This can be easier said than done because deleting this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best QUICK approach to uninstall SIV is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows system.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find SIV or simply click the Search field and type in "SIV". If it exists on your system the SIV app will be found automatically. After you click SIV in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding SIV, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for SIV:

• The publisher is: http://www.GIGABYTE.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{AAA057C3-10DC-4EB9-A3D6-8208C1BB7411}\setup.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall SIV.


8. After removing SIV, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong SIV that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SIV using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
