How to uninstall SIV from your PC

How to uninstall SIV with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SIV is an application offered by GIGABYTE. Some people choose to erase it. Sometimes this can be hard because deleting this manually requires some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. The best QUICK action to erase SIV is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to take care of your PC.

• visit Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find SIV or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SIV". If it is installed on your PC the SIV program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click SIV in the list of apps, some data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding SIV, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for SIV:

• The publisher is: http://www.GIGABYTE.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{AAA057C3-10DC-4EB9-A3D6-8208C1BB7411}\setup.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall SIV.


8. After uninstalling SIV, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong SIV which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing SIV using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
