A way to remove Rainmeter from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Rainmeter is an application offered by the software company Rainmeter. Sometimes, computer users want to remove it. Sometimes this can be efortful because doing this by hand requires some experience related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK practice to remove Rainmeter is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to clean your PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Rainmeter or simply activate the Search field and type in "Rainmeter". The Rainmeter program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Rainmeter in the list of programs, the following information about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Rainmeter, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Rainmeter:

• The publisher is: http://rainmeter.net
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\uninst.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Rainmeter.


8. After removing Rainmeter, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Rainmeter which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Rainmeter using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
