How to uninstall RAPT from your system

How to uninstall RAPT from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

RAPT is an application marketed by the software company PCDC. Sometimes, computer users want to uninstall it. This can be troublesome because performing this by hand takes some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE manner to uninstall RAPT is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to take care of your PC.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate RAPT or simply click the Search feature and type in "RAPT". If it exists on your system the RAPT program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click RAPT in the list , some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding RAPT, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for RAPT:

• The publisher is: http://www.raptsoftware.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{0BDB96C3-660F-4F43-BF72-30ADA1E43C7E}\setup.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall RAPT.


8. After uninstalling RAPT, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of RAPT that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling RAPT with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
