A guide to uninstall RAPT from your system

This info is about RAPT for Windows. Below you can find details on how to uninstall it from your PC. It is written by PCDC. More info about PCDC can be read here. Further information about RAPT can be seen at http://www.raptsoftware.com. RAPT is commonly installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\PCDC\RAPT folder, however this location may differ a lot depending on the user's decision while installing the program. You can remove RAPT by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{0BDB96C3-660F-4F43-BF72-30ADA1E43C7E}\setup.exe. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for admin rights. RAPTW.exe is the programs's main file and it takes around 13.10 MB (13738496 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall RAPT from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

RAPT is a program by PCDC. Sometimes, users decide to erase this application. This can be efortful because deleting this manually requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best EASY action to erase RAPT is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your system.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find RAPT or simply click the Search field and type in "RAPT". The RAPT application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select RAPT in the list , some data about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about RAPT, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{0BDB96C3-660F-4F43-BF72-30ADA1E43C7E}\setup.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove RAPT.


8. After removing RAPT, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong RAPT that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing RAPT using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
