A way to uninstall RAPT from your computer

This web page contains detailed information on how to uninstall RAPT for Windows. It is made by PCDC. More info about PCDC can be found here. More information about RAPT can be seen at http://www.raptsoftware.com. RAPT is commonly set up in the C:\Program Files (x86)\PCDC\RAPT folder, but this location can vary a lot depending on the user's option when installing the program. You can remove RAPT by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line "C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{0BDB96C3-660F-4F43-BF72-30ADA1E43C7E}\setup.exe" -runfromtemp -l0x0409 -removeonly. Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. RAPTW.exe is the programs's main file and it takes circa 13.11 MB (13745152 bytes) on disk.

A way to delete RAPT using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

RAPT is an application offered by the software company PCDC. Some computer users try to remove this application. This is hard because performing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best EASY procedure to remove RAPT is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find RAPT or simply click the Search field and type in "RAPT". The RAPT program will be found very quickly. When you select RAPT in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding RAPT, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for RAPT:

• The software company is: http://www.raptsoftware.com
• The uninstall string is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{0BDB96C3-660F-4F43-BF72-30ADA1E43C7E}\setup.exe" -runfromtemp -l0x0409 -removeonly

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove RAPT.


8. After uninstalling RAPT, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of RAPT that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling RAPT with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
