A guide to uninstall QQ from your system

This page contains detailed information on how to remove QQ for Windows. The Windows release was created by Tencent. You can read more on Tencent or check for application updates here. Usually the QQ program is placed in the C:\Program Files\Tencent\QQNT directory, depending on the user's option during setup. You can uninstall QQ by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\Tencent\QQNT\Uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for administrator rights. The application's main executable file has a size of 168.22 MB (176390256 bytes) on disk and is titled QQ.exe.

How to delete QQ from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

QQ is a program released by the software company Tencent. Sometimes, people choose to remove it. This can be troublesome because uninstalling this by hand requires some knowledge related to removing Windows programs manually. The best QUICK approach to remove QQ is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find QQ or simply click the Search field and type in "QQ". If it is installed on your PC the QQ application will be found very quickly. When you select QQ in the list , the following data about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about QQ, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove QQ.


8. After removing QQ, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of QQ that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing QQ with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
