A guide to uninstall QQ from your system

This page contains detailed information on how to remove QQ for Windows. The Windows version was created by Tencent. Additional info about Tencent can be found here. Usually the QQ application is found in the C:\Program Files\Tencent\QQNT directory, depending on the user's option during install. QQ's entire uninstall command line is C:\Program Files\Tencent\QQNT\Uninstall.exe. QQ.exe is the QQ's main executable file and it takes approximately 155.45 MB (163000432 bytes) on disk.

A way to erase QQ with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

QQ is an application released by Tencent. Sometimes, people decide to erase this application. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because performing this by hand takes some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best QUICK solution to erase QQ is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find QQ or simply click the Search feature and type in "QQ". If it exists on your system the QQ application will be found very quickly. When you select QQ in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding QQ, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall QQ.


8. After removing QQ, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of QQ that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing QQ with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
