A way to uninstall PowerDVD from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PowerDVD is a program released by the software company CyberLink Corp.. Frequently, users want to uninstall this program. This can be hard because removing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY manner to uninstall PowerDVD is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find PowerDVD or simply activate the Search feature and type in "PowerDVD". If it is installed on your PC the PowerDVD app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select PowerDVD in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding PowerDVD, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove PowerDVD.

8. After uninstalling PowerDVD, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong PowerDVD which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing PowerDVD using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
