How to delete PowerDVD using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PowerDVD is an application by the software company CyberLink Corp.. Sometimes, people decide to remove this program. This is efortful because uninstalling this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK approach to remove PowerDVD is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category

5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate PowerDVD or simply activate the Search feature and type in "PowerDVD". The PowerDVD application will be found automatically. After you click PowerDVD in the list of programs, the following data about the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about PowerDVD, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove PowerDVD.

8. After removing PowerDVD, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of PowerDVD that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing PowerDVD with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
