After the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the computer. Part_A few of these are listed below.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall Power2Go from your PC:

  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{06A4F449-B2BE-48b7-B90C-06FF276B3233}

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\BlankCD\Shell\OpenWithPower2Go\Command\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\BlankDVD\Shell\OpenWithPower2Go\Command\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{01F4883E-DB31-4ECB-A196-9B58867CC8D4}\InprocServer32\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0262E712-0CA7-41F5-93A1-B8706944EED9}\InprocServer32\


How to erase Power2Go from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Power2Go is a program released by the software company CyberLink Corp.. Some computer users decide to erase this program. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Power2Go or simply activate the Search field and type in "Power2Go". The Power2Go application will be found very quickly. After you select Power2Go in the list of applications, some data regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Power2Go, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Power2Go.

8. After uninstalling Power2Go, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Power2Go that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Power2Go using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
